Set Review: 09-10 Upper Deck "Champs"

Well, the last set of champs cards that came out, were great. I really liked the design and that it wasnt to glossy, like most cards made by upper deck. The design on this years champs cards are not the best. I mean they look awful. I am really disapointed by this set. I guess the only good thing about the set is that it features some of the best players of all time. Overall, I would not recommend it. I would strongly recommend the last set of champs cards. I have baught some packs of the last one, and now I will be purchasing the entire base set of it. I will have to do a review on that one. I give the 10-11 set of champs a 4 out of 10.

Set Review: 09-10 Upper Deck "Victory"

I am very impressed on how this set came out, overall. Nothing bad to say about the base. I was hoping that the stars of the game cards would be a little bit better. I left out the game breakers cards because we all know that they were in the last one and have seen them before. I am also a little suprised on how they made the "Gold" cards. If you were wondering, the gold card was the one with Peter Mueller on it. The rookies look very basic and much like the base, they shouldve added something else to the "Victory Rookies". I am talking about what Score did with their rookies. Those cards were not glossy, stood out and most importantly not dull. All of the cards included in this set are GREAT for autographs. I do recommend a quick rub with an eraser, just to be safe. If you check out my other blog jsportsautosttm.blogspot.com, you would know how the autographs came out, just by looking at mine. I am so excited to see what Upper Deck will do with their 11-12 Victory cards next year. Overall I give this set a 9 out of 10. I highly recommend it.
